Pomfort Cinemator is the rendering queue and automation tool of the Pomfort Silverstack bundle and is included in every download of Pomfort SilverStack.

Rendering

Cinemator renders image sequences of most common image file formats including TIFF, DPX and Cineon™ into Quicktime™ movies using any codec installed on your system.

Customize your movies by adding blackbars, watermarks or a soundtrack. Add timecode tracks to your movies to work with them in Final Cut Pro™. These and many more options are available through the Silverstack compress panel.

Performance and Precision

Pomfort Cinemator is built and optimized for Macs with G4/G5 and Intel MacPro multi-core and multi-processor machines. Cinemator leverages this processing power with multi-threaded rendering and i/o.

With Pomfort SilverStack HCD a new rendering pipeline is introduced, that enables 10 bit color depth (rendered in float precision) for the creation of QuickTime movies.

Automation

Pomfort Cinemator is more than just a rendering queue: Start Scripts or Automator™ workflows from within Cinemator to leverage the full power of Mac OS X™:

• Automatically upload your rendered movie files to a FTP-Server
• Send notification mails when renders are completed
• Merge multiple movies generated from different image sequences
• Add timecode tracks to existing movies
