"The Hills Have Eyes II"

The remake of Wes Cravens "The Hills Have Eyes Part Two" has been finished in early 2007 by director Martin Weisz. For the horror movie playing in New Mexico, the crew used Pomfort SilverStack for preparing test sequences of scanned film from the lab in London for editorial in Los Angeles. SilverStack created QuickTime movies with the Avid Meridien codec.

"Super app. Runs really smooth. Neat." says Martin Weisz as he receives the first official version of SilverStack, where lots of his feedback on SilverStack's BETA version went right into. In "THHE II" Pomfort SilverStack has been in good company with Scratch, Final Touch, Iridas and Da Vinci products - enhancing workflows for professional movie production.

"Schwere Jungs"

The comedy "Schwere Jungs" is based on the true story of a German bobsledders team winning gold at the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo against all odds.
For the communication between the editorial and the digital intermediate facility, DI supervisor Geoffrey Grafwallner used the Pomfort SilverStack application for creating reference QuickTime movies out of visual effect shots of high resolution. "It made our work much easier to have a simple but powerfull tool in the pipeline." Geoffrey says about the use of Pomfort SilverStack in the digital intermediate workflow.
