Today, pioneering video review and collaboration platform Frame.io shared first glimpses into upcoming additions to its “Camera to Cloud” system. We’re excited to announce that Pomfort will be part of these updates by contributing an automated process for transferring on-set look files from Pomfort’s leading digital imaging software Livegrade to Frame.io via ShotHub!
The integration via Pomfort’s cloud-based metadata storage ShotHub enables Digital Imaging Technicians to rely on established workflows with Livegrade while empowering them to make their valuable work easily available to productions using Frame.io C2C:
Create and save looks in Livegrade as usual, and make your project metadata available in ShotHub. After linking ShotHub with Frame.io, look files get automatically transferred and can be directly accessed for subsequent production steps. The described ShotHub feature is currently under development and will be released in January 2022.
