Around Cine Gear Expo LA, Product Manager Lukas Wanderer had a great time catching up with the Livegrade community, meeting new faces, and talking on-set look and color workflows at a range of events. Here are a few highlights from a great week in Hollywood.

Cine Gear kickoff party by Creative Solutions 

As sponsors of the party, we were excited to join industry professionals for an evening of conversations, networking, and catching up before the show officially began. Thanks again to the Creative Solutions team for having us!

Hands-on Livegrade 7 sessions 

Before the doors opened at Cine Gear Expo LA, we hosted two exclusive small-group Livegrade 7 sessions at RSH Studios in Hollywood. Livegrade Product Manager Lukas Wanderer welcomed industry professionals for hands-on discussions covering setup tips, new features, and in-camera grading workflows. Whether attendees were upgrading from earlier versions or already using Livegrade 7, the focus was on getting the most out of the software and feeling even more confident on set.

Visitors got an exclusive sneak preview of upcoming Livegrade 7.2 features, including live demonstrations of in-camera grading on the latest DSMC3 RED cameras. Lukas also shared general insights into Livegrade 7’s next-gen capabilities: from multi-view and multi-grade functionality to working with multiple outputs and mastering HDR/SDR workflows. 

We were also joined by DIT Chuck Pappas, who shared his experience using Livegrade for cine-live workflows at large-scale events such as this year’s Coachella festival. You can read more about his workflow here.
