Livegrade v6.5: Temporary licensing update

Update on temporary licensing for Livegrade Pro and Studio

With Livegrade 7 now in wide use across productions, we continue gradually phasing out Livegrade Pro and Studio (v6.5) until the end of the year. To make sure you’re well prepared as a user for your next project, we’d like to give you a quick heads-up about upcoming changes to temporary licensing.

What changes with Livegrade temporary licensing?

  • Temporary licenses for Livegrade Pro/Studio (v6.5) will no longer be offered from May 4, 2026. This marks the next step of the phase-out until the end of the year.
  • Going forward, temporary licenses are available through Livegrade 7. So if you prefer project-based licensing, you’re still fully covered.
  • Every Livegrade 7 license includes access to Livegrade v6.5 during the transition period. This allows you to adopt Livegrade 7 at your own pace while continuing to use Livegrade 6.5 whenever needed.

New 10-day license available

Did you know we’ve added a 10-day option alongside our 1- and 2-month licenses? Ideal for short-term projects, splinter unit work, or elaborate prep days. Learn more

Plan your transition early

Over time, staying on Livegrade Pro/Studio v6.5 may limit compatibility with the latest macOS, hardware, and software integrations. Planning your transition to Livegrade 7 early helps ensure you stay up to date and also fully benefit from Livegrade 7’s powerful features in your productions.

We are here to support you
