Linked Looks come in handy whenever you work simultaneously with two camera inputs that should share a creative look but call for slightly individual modifications, e.g. to correct lenses.
Other times you might have only one input but several outputs like an HDR-monitor and a regular video monitor. The output again should share the same creative look but the different monitor types require different lookup tables.
The basic idea of the Linked Looks feature is to control two or more slots at the same time while single parts of the look can be adjusted individually for each slot.
