While established on-set workflows are built around flat images, immersive video can't be evaluated using standard monitoring alone. Directors, cinematographers, and other crew need a way to review stereoscopic content as the audience will experience it, and tools to validate creative intent, technical quality, and production decisions before moving on to the next shot.

Immersive streaming & viewing

Connect an immersive camera like any other signal: both eyes arrive side by side in a single slot. Grading, reference stills, TC-synced multi-camera recording, and playback work exactly as with conventional video, so your immersive setup follows the workflow your crew already knows.

Turn the camera's dual-fisheye signal into an image you can judge on the standard monitors on set. Look around the scene using pan, tilt, and focal length, either with the mouse or with a controller. For a first impression of the stereo depth, switch to an anaglyph view.

Looks, scopes, and exposure assist work on the dewarped immersive image just as they do on any other signal. An additional overlay marks potential vertical disparity issues between the left and right eye, so they show up while the rig is still set up.

Send the graded live image to Apple Vision Pro across your local network, in stereo and with low latency. With the companion app Livegrade Cinema, the director, DP, and client can judge the take from inside the scene while the setup can still be changed.
