Network
Movie Making Isn’t a One-Person Show.
It takes a myriad of skilled professionals and production steps to go from script to screen. Hence, we aim to ensure that Pomfort software and services are compatible with a wide range of industry-standard devices, applications, and workflows.
That’s why we collaborate with a strong network of local experts, industry leaders, educators, and cutting-edge technology partners. You can check out our current collaborations and industry involvements below.
Technology Partners
We collaborate and oftentimes foster close relationships with key manufacturers of film production hardware and software products. Thus, we ensure Pomfort applications support and integrate with essential on-set and post-production technologies.

Industry Initiatives
We continuously join and actively participate in initiatives that drive innovation and establish shared standards within digital film production technology. We’re currently involved in the following programs:
ACES
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences developed ACES as an industry standard for color management in film productions. Pomfort is an official ACES Product Partner and works alongside the Academy since the introduction of ACES to ensure Pomfort products implement ACES according to Academy and SMPTE specifications.
Additionally, both Livegrade Pro and Studio have been accepted to bear the ACES logo by meeting all required qualification criteria to be accepted to the ACES Logo Program. ACES logoed products assure filmmaking professionals that their work leads to a convincing ACES experience when part of a properly configured ACES color-managed workflow.

ASC MHL
As lead of the ASC MHL working group, Pomfort’s founding member and product visionary Patrick Renner works with the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) on a standardized media transfer process. ASC MHL was developed out of Pomfort’s Media Hash List (MHL) specification and ensures data integrity during digital media file transfers.
Sponsorships
We’re passionate about the film industry and related communities. Therefore, we support organizations that bring film professionals together for fruitful exchanges.
IMAGO
The International Federation of Cinematographers (IMAGO) is a global network of professional cinematographers with more than 4000 members worldwide. The federation works to promote the art of cinematography, facilitate valuable discourses and circulate knowledge and experiences among its members. As an official sponsor, Pomfort supports and participates in IMAGO’s mission.
Educational Institutions
We support film schools and universities worldwide with discounted educational licenses and valuable industry insights. Thus, we aim to contribute to the education of young Digital Imaging Technicians.
