With a focus on transparency and flexibility, Reeltime Pro's central user interface is designed around slots. The concept is adopted from Pomfort's well-proven Livegrade applications but modified to address the specific challenges of Video playback more conveniently. Easily manage and route multiple live and playback signals to various destinations without losing track. Use various slot types and modes to present or compare single or multiple live and playback videos. Customize views for specific purposes or audiences by creating different composites and applying filters. Therefore, it guarantees that all creatives on set can access the content they need for review and collaboration.
Group recording and playback

It all comes down to speed and precision on set. Reeltime Pro provides you with a variety of smart clip controls and automation features to save you valuable time. Bank on the auto-record option triggered by the record flag embedded in SDI signals. More than one camera involved? Easily create synced group recordings. Set in and out points already during recording to highlight specific sections. Even if the camera keeps rolling for several actions within a single take, we’ve got you covered: Create multiple ranges complemented by ratings and notes. Additionally choose from eight customizable marker types to establish reference points including your annotations.
On top quickly arm or unarm slots, if a camera won’t be rolling for the next recording. New clips are auto-loaded for instant playback of timecode-synced group recordings. Control them with industry-standard JKL controls and conveniently playback only your marked in and out ranges with the ranges playback option, which can also easily be combined with looping.
Multiple UI window layouts

Reeltime Pro offers a selection of different window layouts to choose from. Each one is tailored to support you in getting your daily jobs done most efficiently. Do you need to monitor all camera signals simultaneously on a small MacBook Pro display? Make the multi-view window layout options your best friends during recording and playback, and switch back to the main view layout for browsing the shot library, or configuring routing and filters.
Conveniently compare various clips in your library in the library slots’ multi-view layout. Or head to the output slots’ multi-view layout to see all outgoing signals and check within a glance what is currently presented to the individual watchers in the video village.
While focusing efficiently on your current task in one of the dedicated multi-view layouts, the toolbar's most important global controls and metadata fields for recordings always stay at your fingertips. So you are all geared up when the cameras roll again!
Being able to run a multi-cam cart this mobile and nimble has been great! With Reeltime Pro, I boot up, plug cameras in and it's just a matter of setting slots to whatever I want to show on set. Having the ability to pre-build slots and label them accordingly makes handling requests a breeze.

Rely on Pomfort’s proven clip library concept to organize the tons of recordings and stills thoroughly during a project. It allows for customized table layouts and helps you to create meaningful structures. Track and edit valuable shot metadata for individual or multiple clips in a detail view, with global metadata—such as slate info—easily editable and applicable to several clips at once.
Reeltime Pro features various search functionalities to help you locate exactly what you need, whether by library, clip, in/out ranges, or even at the frame level using markers. Group your recordings in the library by a customizable, metadata-based outline into smart groups. Use a selected thumbnail frame to identify specific clip or group recording, and visually scan them with a dedicated skimming feature. Ratings and annotations associated with your in/out ranges and markers further enhance your search. A global text search scans the entire library and annotations for any term you specify.
Chroma keying
Pre-viz composite shots in no time.
Nothing beats a quick pre-visual to ensure the creative intent, continuity and technical accuracy of a scene shot in front of a green or blue screen. Provide your director, actors and crew with real-time previews of how the final shot will look once the desired background is added in post-production. Reeltime Pro’s chroma key filter can be applied on any live or playback signal.
The overlay option of a composite slot blends the isolated foreground with any background plate loaded into a library slot. For a seamless blend, adjust the color settings of both foreground and background using the “Color Adjust” filter. Finally, refine the composite with the “Blur” filter to achieve a more realistic appearance.

Choose from video I/O devices by AJA and Blackmagic, or devices equipped with DELTACAST video I/O cards. Experience optimized latency of just 2 to 3 frames plus compared to a direct feed from the camera. When working with an AJA video I/O device, a dedicated pass-through option automatically bypasses the internal processing of Reeltime Pro in live mode to enable a zero-added-latency feed.
Extend your setup with an SDI video router from either AJA or Blackmagic. Reeltime Pro’s interactive router control panel streamlines the tedious process of signal management, providing increased transparency and flexibility. Create multiple video routing configurations that can be triggered by your Stream Deck or automations based on a specific event. For instance, ensure the lowest possible latency for your director by automatically triggering the appropriate routing when switching from playback to live.
Streaming and remote collaboration

Reeltime Pro's slot concept enables tailored views for sending live and playback signals to various destinations, accommodating diverse viewing preferences. Additionally, Reeltime Pro integrates with 3rd-party internet streaming services like Sony Ci Media Cloud, RePro Stream, Autodesk Flow Capture, Teradek TV, and Sohonet ClearView Flex for remote collaboration with creatives, clients or other stakeholders not on set.
