Composite Slots

Output Slots

• Output slots allow distributing outgoing signals to SDI outputs or as local stream
• Temporarly set one or all output slots to follow the slot selection
• Temporarily set one or all output slots to force the slot to the live signal of the configured source

Slot Settings

• Inspect the source, loaded clip and configured destinations of the selected input slot
• Configure a fixed source for an output slot
• Configure the output slot to follow the slot selection and/or to force the output slot to the live signal
• Inspect the associated destination (e.g., SDI port) of the selected output slot and reveal the slot's configuration in the slot manager

Tailored Views

• Independent filters for input slots, library slots and output slots allow creating tailored views for numerous use cases
• Customize a view by combining the pre-filtered image from input slots and/or library slots with the composite layout options of a composite slot
• Customize a view by combining the pre-filtered image from input slots/library slot/composite slot with additional filters in the output slot

Filters

• Crop filter with offset and rotation parameters
• Flip filter (horizontally/vertically)
• Metadata overlay filter for displaying relevant metadata in views (camera/slate info/slot mode/clip name/timecode)
• Image overlay filter allows overlaying a loaded image file (with opacity, scale and offset parameters)
• LUT filter allows applying a 3D cube file

Filter Settings

• Add and remove filters to/from a selected slot
• Temporarily disable a filter of a slected slot
• Inspect and edit each filter's individual parameters of a selected slot
• Inspect and edit related filter settings of a selected output slot (filter settings of the currently configured source slot)
• Copy and paste filter settings between slots
• Remove all filters from a selected slot

Group recording and single recording

• Create TC-synced group recordings from multiple input slots
• Create single recordings from individual input slots
• Arm / un-arm individual slots for the upcoming recording
• Set multiple in and out ranges during recording

Clip Metadata

• Receive and record timecode and clip name via the ANC metadata embedded in SDI signals (if supported by the device setup)
• Global metadata fields for storing slate and production information

Auto Record

• Trigger auto record based on the record flag via the HANC metadata embedded in SDI signals (if supported by the device setup - e.g., AJA capture devices in combinations with ARRI, RED and SONY cameras)
• Trigger auto record based on RecRun timecode

Recording Settings

• Choose record format from a range of ProRes codecs
• Timecode settings allow choosing to use the original source timecodes or the current time as timecode for recordings

Playback in Slots

• Auto-load new clips for playback into source input slots
• Playback TC-synced group recordings in source input slots
• Playback single recording or individual clip or a group recording in an input slot or a library slot
• Playback all library slots from their current playhead position

Viewer Controls

• Playback, jog and shuttle using J, K, L keyboard shortcuts or associated controller actions
• Playback clips at 1/2 speed, 1/4 speed or 1/8 speed using keyboard shortcuts or associated controller actions
• Ranges playback options allow playing back only the marked in and out ranges (nearest range or all ranges)
• Loop playback (also in combination with ranges playback)
• Navigate to next/previous in an out points (cycle through)
• Edit existing in and out ranges and add new ranges

Clip Loading

• Load a TC-synced group recording into the associated source slots
• Load a single recording or individual clip from a group recording into the selected input slot
• Auto-load selected clip in library into library slot

Clip Import

• Import QuickTime movies (in ProRes codec) as clips into library

Clip Metadata

• Apply global metadata to all clips of the upcoming recording for storing slate and production information
• Customize behavior of editing slate info fields (e.g. slating system, reset values)
• Auto-populate timecode and clip name metadata fields via the ANC metadata embedded in SDI signals
• Curate clips with rating, flagging and various metadata fields

Audio Settings

Audio Recording

• Add an audio delay to sync the incoming audio and video signals
• Monitor the level of the current audio recording with audio meters
• Option to always mute monitoring audio

Audio Playback
